HORTI VIENNA 2013 is growing successfully
Already 95% of
floor space booked in hall D. Participants are European market leaders
active in greenhouse construction, manufacturers and installers of
energy screens and shades, potting machines, substrates and irrigation
techniques just to name a few.
In a larger ‘green’ area
exhibitors will show cuttings and seedlings for vegetables and
ornamentals, also nurseries from Austria will be present. A special
showcase will be dedicated to new varieties of ornamental plants and
vegetables.
Floristry is another new area within the HORTI
VIENNA 2013. Floristic demonstrations for the audience are planned by
exhibiting companies.
A conference program on all 3 days will
cover subjects like irrigation control, green construction and glass,
cut flower production as a market opportunity, technical aspects for the
use of fans in greenhouses and LED plant lighting.
HORTI VIENNA partner country in 2013 will be Slovakia
This does underline the importance of the fair for our professional visitors from Eastern European neighbour countries.
As
in 2011 following Association do sponsor Horti Vienna: Federal
Association of Austrian Horticulturists, the Austrian Market
Horticulturists Association and the Chamber of Agriculture Vienna.
Innovations and improvements
Fabric / knitted fabrics Use
of energy screens to improve energy efficiency. For the selection of a
suitable screen material various factors such as cultivated crops, the
required / desired temperatures and the location of the greenhouse play a
role. Depending on the parameters, different fabric / knit ted fabrics
are useful. Plantechnik Hartman AG, Großmaischeid (D)
Modern materials The
use of material Revolux increases its share of the diffuse light in the
greenhouse, it prevents burns on the plants, thus reducing the use of
shading. The material has in addition to the insulation also regulatory
mechanisms to control the light level and the climate. Ludvig Svensson,
Hellevoetsluis (NL)
Double fabric screens A
better insulation in existing greenhouses can be achieved by a double
fabric screen. The combination of a dayscreen and an energy saving
screen offers a high potential of energy saving to the grower. This
innovation is easy to install and to handle in the operation of
greenhouses. Reimann Spinnerei &Weberei GmbH (D)
Screen management To
optimize the screen management in the suspension of the screens - ie to
reduce the shadows of the installed systems and to reduce leaks
Plantechnik Hartmann has developed a management system for greenhouses
in Venlo greenhouse constructions that reduces the shadow up to 50%. The
energy screen material is fixed with a keder into an aluminum rail as a
guide channel. Since the fabric is not drawn with hooks but is attached
to an aluminum profile with rubber ends there is also a close result in
a construction without holes. When the screen is retracted, the
material is collected unlike in case of driving systems in the aluminum
track.
Other exhibitors in the area of installation companies
to energy screens are the companies Franz Schumann (D), Wolfgang Block
(D) Richard Weber (D), Fischer (D) and Horconex (NL)
HORTI
VIENNA 2013 will be held from October 8th to 10th at the Vienna Fair
Ground. Many manufacturers will show the latest developments, products
and services for greater energy efficiency in greenhouses.
