GARDENIA - The next edition:

We invite you to participate in the next year's edition of GARDENIA Garden and Landscape Architecture Fair.

GARDENIA is a dynamically developing project, which has over the years become the leading exhibition event of the gardening sector in Poland. The last edition was a record in terms of the number of exhibitors. In 2013 we had over 600 exhibitors and nearly a 20-percent increase in the amount of visitors.

The 2013 GARDENIA exposition was located in six brand new pavilions: 3, 3A, 5 and 6, which occupy the total area of 32 thousand square meters.

The business character of GARDENIA was emphasized with specially prepared events, which were tailored to meet the needs of each and every of the visiting groups.

The Garden Model Center was the novelty of this year’s edition of the GARDENIA Fair. It presented how effectively and professionally a sale space can be organized.

The day prior to the GARDENIA exhibition, February 21st, the Polish Association of Garden Centers (Polskie Stowarzyszenie Centrów Ogrodniczych) trained garden centers on the issue of cost optimization.

A wide offer of Polish and foreign producers and distributors was to be found at the fair exposition. These included over 150 totally new novelties on the Polish market. A meeting with them was an invaluable possibility to develop new business contacts.

Together with „Zieleń miejska” magazine, we organised the conference of the “Urban Garden Art” cycle. This time, the main theme of the meeting concerned ecological neighborhoods.

Landscape architects, green areas designers and students of this faculty were invited to take part in the fifth edition of the competition titled “GREENERY IN TOWN” organized by OSTO. 

The Faculty of Landscape Architecture of Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) together with Academic Enterprise Incubators (Manufaktura KunSZTU) invited visitors to join the open, interdisciplinary Project Workshops titled “Desert Island”.

Apart from that, architects were welcomed with a rich offer of companies which present small garden architecture, garden furniture and nursery-related material.

In the same place and time as GARDENIA Garden Fair will be held SPECIAL DAYS (Holiday and Special Occasion Products Fair), has been drawing attention of still more and more florists, who appreciate FLORISTIC SHOWS.

Florists were also awaited by a wide offer of producers and distributors, including above all flowers, decorations and floristic items.

Pavilion 12 was occupied by PLANTS FAIR, which means a splendor of garden and pot flowers involving well-known and liked plants, as well as the latest offers.

Everyone interested in creating an interesting project in their own garden had the possibility to get advice from professional architects in the so-called PROJECT EMERGENCY.

There were many attractions awaiting visitors at the scene prepared by COMPO, FISKARS, MAROLEX and VILMORIN: competitions including awards, games for children, eco-corner, equipment displays, as well as tips and workshops. Gardening industry experts provided answers for participants’ questions, and the whole meeting was hosted by Marek Jezierski.  

MODEL GARDENS, organized by OSTO was an interactive park for an entire family – sense gardens for children and an open-air theatre with workshops for adult participants.

It was also possible to get familiar with a valuable skill of present packing during the WORKSHOP within the partner SPECIAL DAYS Fair. These were organized by Plastiflora and Florami companies in the pavilion 5 in Speaker’s Corner.
